provides before and after school care that is highly integrated with the
school and its activities. Special programs provided for half day

Montclair Recreation Center 482-7812
A variety of after school sports, art, dance, and cooking classes are
offered for 8-week sessions at our neighboring parks recreation center. A City of Oakland Recreation Leader picks up students after school and supervises them in the park and recreation center.
Students attending Adventure Time (AT) at Montclair School are walked over and picked up by AT staff. Stop by the Recreation Center for
programs and schedules.

Smiles Day Care (510) 339-9660 5701 Thornhill Drive
Smiles provides before and after-school child care in its Montclair facility located a block and a half from Montclair School. A driver drops off students in the morning and picks them up after school for activities and extended child care.
