Look at the menu to the left to see if your class has a webpage. Each page will have current information about your class.
Here's some other websites that are geared towards your students:
http://montclairlab.pbworks.com/
This is the page that the children use in their Computer Lab, and it contains many useful links broken up by grade.
The following math links were provided by our principal, Nancy Bloom.
http://www.steelcitymath.org/
Once you are there, click on Math Glossary on the left, then on A Dictionary for Kids. Once there, there is an alphabetical listing on the left. Click on the letter you want and you get a list of terms. Click on the term you want and it takes you to an interactive, animated glossary with excellent examples. This is very cool. Check it out.
http://www.harcourtschool.com/glossary/math2/ will also take you to an animated math glossary. The benefit of this site is that you can explore by grade level. Don’t limit yourself to your child’s grade level, move up or down until you find what you are looking for.
http://www.mathwords.com/ is another good site, it has more writing and less visuals, but for the intellectual in us all, it is valuable.
Don't see your class but think it should have a page? Email webmaster@montclairelementaryschool.org and we can set you up to take care of your class page. If you can use email, you can probably keep the page updated.
