The Otter Walk, MES Walk-a-Thon Oct. 15, 2011
Mark your calendar! Our annual Walk-a-Thon is our biggest fundraiser of the year. Prior to the big day, the kids gather sponsors . . . then at the event, they walk, and walk, and walk . . . all the way having fun with their friends and gathering prizes, while everyone else cheers them on. Parents and friends enjoy hanging out and meeting other families, eating great food, and vying for a spot at many of our popular ‘Bid Board’ events and parties. Employer Matching Contributions: Any cash donation is eligible for Matching Funds, including donations made to the Back-to-School Donation Drive, the Otter Walk, and 'Fund a Need' at the Otter Ball. Not sure if your employer matches? Contact your company’s HR department to find out.

United Way: designation of nonprofit organizations—The Federal tax ID for Montclair Elementary School PTA is 94-6183886.

Target VISA: specify Montclair Elementary School as your recipient to get 2% of your purchases donated to Montclair.

Grants: we'lll be forming a grant writing committee this school year. The goal of the committee will be to seek out corporate and foundation gifts and grant opportunities. If you’d like to get in on the ground floor and help, contact Jennifer Whitney.
