Band and Strings
Taught by Mr. Michael Turner, a teacher with the Oakland Unified’s Music Department, band instruction is available to 4th and 5th graders. Students may choose to learn the flute, trumpet, saxophone, trombone, clarinet or violin. Currently, beginner classes are held during school and intermediate classes are held before and after school.
