Montclair GATE / High Potential Program

Students are nominated by their teacher at the end of 3rd grade for the GATE-Gifted and Talented Education program. These students then take a test to qualify. GATE students in grades 4 and 5 receive differentiated instruction from their classroom teachers as part of their regular classroom experience during the school year. A record of documentation will be provided by each classroom teacher for each GATE student in their class as required by the Education Code.
