Montclair is located just off of the Warren Freeway (Highway 13) in the Oakland Hills.

From Hwy 13, south of Fwy 24, exit Thornhill/Moraga and position yourself in the left turn lane for Thornhill Drive. Go one block down Thornhill and turn right onto Mountain Boulevard. The school is located at 1757 Mountain Boulevard on the right.

From Hwy 13, north of Fwy 580, exit Park Blvd., turn left off the freeway and continue along Moraga until you reach Thornhill Drive. Turn right onto Thornhill and then right onto Mountain Boulevard. The school is located at 1757 Mountain Boulevard on the right.

Drop Off /Pick Up
Montclair Elementary resides in a busy city village on a main thoroughfare. The street parking in front of the school should be avoided during busy pick up and drop off times. Use the circle drive in the parking area above the school where there are yellow zones for quick drop and pick up. This keeps you and your children safe and the non-schooling community around you moving.

Do not leave your child unattended on the main yard before 8:20am or after school gets out. Every Wednesday is minimum day and school ends at 1:30pm.

Parking is available in the lot above the school. Please follow arrows in lot. You must obtain parking permit stickers for all of your cars from the school office. The lot is patrolled by the city. All Yellow Zones in the parking lot are for quick drop offs. There is no stopping in Red Zones.
